UNREST, Wolfen, The Mystery - United Metalheads Festival 11.11.2005 Wuppertal
(by Alcore/ Alcores Blog)

Well, one in advance: EUR 6,50 entrance fee definitely payed. I have just been a bit disappointed that besides Christian of klanggewitter.com I hardly met people that you usually bump into.

Unfortunately, I didn't get too much of
Wolfen, only parts which meant that they must have begun punctually. But what I came to listen to I actually liked very much. Because they have been the first band there still wasn't the right atmosphere around yet.

In contrast to that the mood changed a lot with The Mystery. I suppose the band must have brought their own fanclub with them as it got relatively crowded in front of the stage. Musically, they actually didn't delight me that much, most of all, there was some calm song I found so terribly boring. Nevertheless, at some time there have been some good ideas. As for their performance, they partly still have to learn a lot too.

After about an hour they were done and so Unrest (Gratis-MP3s!) could enter the stage.

And they just did rock. Founded in 1988 the Bremen band noticeable showed a lot of stage experience, it simply had been a pleasure to watch them. Pointed out musically it simply had been good made headbanging power metal. To my delight they also played two songs that I knew from downloads (Sadness & Darkness, I Hate You)... it has been f***** great!

Well, drove home afterwards and now I am quite tired but I still have to drink myself a river.

Greetings, Alcore
